This rope braiding machine has many varieties according to different number of spindles, which basically can be divided into plural and singular types. The plural type, such as the one with 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, or 64 spindles, is for making round rope. The singular type with 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29, 33, or 53 spindles are for making flat belt. There are also special types to make wavy tapes.
